An increasing number of robots were installed in many industries. In response, Kawasaki&nbsp;Robotics&nbsp;stepped up production in China and built a new production line for clean robots&nbsp;at Nishi-Kobe Works in&nbsp;Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2018&nbsp;marks the 50<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;anniversary of Kawasaki\u2019s robot business. We are evolving from a manufacturer of industrial robots to a fully integrated robot manufacturer. Accordingly, we showcased many new technologies and products at the International Robot Exhibition (iREX) 2017 in Tokyo. Our exhibits included&nbsp;Successor, a new robot system that transfers skills to the next generation in order to cope with the aging society; duAro, a collaborative\/co-existing dual-arm robot;&nbsp;Vercia, a&nbsp;robotic&nbsp;operating table, and&nbsp;a&nbsp;humanoid robot<em>.<\/em>&nbsp;These&nbsp;have&nbsp;attracted great attention from companies,&nbsp;academic and&nbsp;government organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>This year we will continue to work closely with our customers and contribute to society. Our exhibits included&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/robotics.kawasaki.com\/userAssets1\/files\/news\/as\/Appendix_Launch-of-Successor_news_release_Nov.2017.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Successor<\/a>, a skill transfer robot system;&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/robotics.kawasaki.com\/en1\/products\/robots\/small-medium-payloads\/RS007N\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RS007N<\/a>&nbsp;&amp;&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/robotics.kawasaki.com\/en1\/products\/robots\/small-medium-payloads\/RS007L\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RS007L<\/a>, a new general-purpose robot with compact&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/robotics.kawasaki.com\/en1\/products\/controllers\/f-controllers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">F controller<\/a>;&nbsp;a humanoid robot; K-Roboride, a VR attraction with robot; and&nbsp;Vercia, a&nbsp;roboticl&nbsp;operating table, among many others.
