Thanks to your support, Kawasaki\u2019s robot business is growing rapidly, and we celebrate our 50th anniversary this year. We are evolving from an industrial robot manufacturer to a fully-integrated robot manufacturer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>As from April 1, Yasuhiko Hashimoto (Managing Executive Officer) has been promoted to President of Precision Machinery and Robot Company, while Shinji Fujita (Executive Officer) has been appointed General Manager of the Robot Division. Clean-room robots have been manufactured in our Akashi Works so far. The new production line at Nishi-Kobe Works will almost triple the total production capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Kawasaki has over 50% of the world market for wafer-handling clean-room robots, which is one of our major businesses.
