A New Production Line for Clean Robots

A new production line for clean robots is completed at Kawasaki’s Nishi-Kobe Works; the opening ceremony was held on March 2. Clean-room robots have been manufactured in our Akashi Works so far. The new production line at Nishi-Kobe Works will almost triple the total production capacity.

Kawasaki has over 50% of the world market for wafer-handling clean-room robots, which is one of our major businesses. We will continue to enhance quality and performance to contribute to the electronics industry and society.
