A new production line for clean robots has been completed at Kawasaki’s Nishi-Kobe Works site located in Nishi-Ku, Kobe, Japan; the opening ceremony was held on March 2, 2018. Until now, cleanroom robots have been solely manufactured at Kawasaki’s Akashi Works production facility. The new production line at Nishi-Kobe Works will almost triple Kawasaki’s total production capacity.
Kawasaki has over 50% of the world market for wafer-handling cleanroom robots, which is one of our major businesses. We will continue to enhance our cleanroom robots’ quality and performance to contribute to the electronics industry and society.
