Safety Laser Scanner SE2L Advanced series and Connection Terminals
IDEC EMEA Headquarter:APEM SAS
[Laser Scanner]
・Ensures the safety of people within the hazardous areas or those approaching machinery.
・Capable of covering a wide (270 degrees), long range detection (protection zone 5m, two warning zones up to 30m), and dual zone (individually monitoring up to two hazardous areas) with a single unit, making it suitable for use with robots applications.
・With safety sensors that can detect the approach of an operator (warning zones), the protective areas can detect proximity and initiate deceleration, allowing for a smaller stop area.
・Master-Slave connection allows the integration of the inputs and outputs, allowing up to four SE2L units to be handled as one.
・The SE2L can be used safely even in environments that are challenging for traditional sensors with a lot of powder, dust and dirt.

[Connection Terminal]
・Safety input to the robot controller
The connection terminal allows the safety signal from the safety laser scanner to be easily input to the robot controller. The safety signal is converted and output as a dry contact output of a force-guided relay. Two sets of diversity signals can be output.
・ Compatible with Master-Slave connections
Master-Slave connections are supported. The SE2L can be connected to each other with an M12 connector cable through the SE2L connection system.
